Are your professional massage therapists trained and licensed?
Absolutely! Everyone’s license is displayed in our front lobby. We feel that our professional massage therapists are the best in Milpitas and San Jose!
Where do your professional massage therapists come from?
We were all born in China, and Mandarin is our native language. However, each of us is proud to be in the United States, and we are all diligently studying English. As you might expect, we have varying degrees of proficiency. However, our receptionists are fully bilingual. If you should experience any difficulty in communication, please ask for help. We want you to be a delighted client!
Do I have to make an appointment, or can I just “show up?”
Please note: Walk-ins are not permitted. We strongly encourage you to make an appointment up to one week in advance. That way you are assured of seeing the professional massage therapist you request, getting the length of appointment you desire, at the time of day you desire. You may make an appointment by calling our receptionist. We are no longer accepting online booking, and you must call to make an appointment.
I like to take a shower right before my professional massage. Is my “shower time” deducted from my appointment time?
No it is not. We like you to be “squeaky clean” too! But we do advise you to arrive a little before your appointment time to shower. There is no charge for you to use our sparkling shower facilities.
Do you accept credit cards?
Yes, we accept Visa and MasterCard at our reception desk. Our online booking service accepts Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover. We will accept cash, but we will not accept personal checks.
I love Elegance Spa! Can I purchase a Gift Card to give to a friend?
Yes, you may! Gift cards are available at our reception desk and online. They expire one year from date of issue.
I have an expired Gift Card. May I still use it, or obtain a refund?
We are sorry, but Gift Cards may not be redeemed after their expiration date. We never give refunds for Gift Cards, even if they are current. They must be used for services at Elegance Spa.
Is “tipping” my professional massage therapist expected?
While any gratuity is always at the discretion of the client, it is customary, welcomed, and appreciated by your professional massage therapist. Tipping the person who gave you an outstanding professional massage is a wonderful gesture of gratitude for their services. Tips may be paid in cash or by credit card. Your therapist gets to retain 100% of their tip… it is not split with other therapists or the owners of Elegance Spa.
OK, so are “extras” offered under any conditions?
Can I get an “unprofessional massage?” Absolutely not! All of our massages are professional and 100% legitimate! You also need to know that if at any time one of our professional massage therapists feels threatened or uncomfortable in any way with a situation, they can and will end your appointment immediately, you will be asked to leave the premises, and no… you will not be getting a refund!
